Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi Museum (Lodge of Whirling Dervishes)

Find yourself walking in Rumi’s footsteps. The museum will open your eyes to the world of the infamous Rumi. Everyone knows a quote by him, but not many get to delve into the Sufi traditions, stunning whirling ceremonies, roam the lodgings, and learn about the extraordinary happenings on these sacred grounds. No trip to Konya is complete without seeing Rumi’s writings in the flesh, as well as his tomb, a place where many pray, reflect and cast a thought for this wondrous person and the land in which he lived.

Karatay Madrasah (tile art museum)

Straight after lunch we will stop by and visit Bogazkale, on the way to Hattusa. At this archeological museum find out the written tablets, bronze tools, and other artifacts of the Anatolian civilization in chronological order.

Hattusa Archeological Site

Continue to Hattusa and proceed with the tour. Much like Atlantis, Hattusa was just a myth, until it was discovered in 1833. Now it is a real place in which you can walk and see for yourself. Explore the ruins as you walk along and notice the rock carvings, Sphynx-like figures, pillars, and other Hittite themes. In this ancient capital we will visit:

End of the tour: With the last stop at Alacahoyuk we will complete this tour. Having the tour finished, we will continue our journey back to Cappadocia. Upon arrival be transferred to your hotel.
