Istanbul – Troy Tour

If you have a spare day while in Istanbul, take a detour from the city to visit illustrious Troy.

Known for the Trojan War as narrated by Homer in the epic of Iliad and, famous for the Trojan horse which was used in the Hollywood movie Troy, this ancient city shall not be left out while traveling in Turkey.

We will go on a pleasant journey through the European side of the country towards Canakkale, then cross the Dardanelles Strait by ferry to reach Troy – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our professional tour guide will provide you with a picture of the most important historical and cultural aspects of the many civilizations which once prospered in this 5000+ years old city.

Meanwhile, walk through the captivating scenery and appreciate sites like The Roman Temple and museum, The Sanctuary and the fortification walls, as well as the Trojan Horse and the enigmatic remains of the ancient city.

06:30 Hotel pick-up from Sultanahmet area.
