Once the capital of Asia Minor, Ephesus is doubtlessly one of the most well-preserved Roman cities in the Mediterranean area and Turkey’s paramount archaeological site.
Ephesus is believed to have witnessed remarkable events such as St. John’s visit to the city and St. Paul’s ‘Letter to the Ephesians’. It is also here that Virgin Mary is believed to have lived her last years.
Roam along the marble streets to the magnificent Library of Celsius and get a taste of how life Roman life used to be.
