Uchisar Photo stop nearby Uchisar Castle and introduction of volcanic area. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the fairy chimneys.
Goreme Open Air Museum – Houses many frescoes in cave churches with different names and stories.
Cavusin A town wıth houses craved out from was left deserted due to boulders fallıng frequently ın the 1960’s. Thıs small rock vıllage used to be an old Greek vıllage
Pasabag the best place to see three-headed conical rock formations.
Avanos – Famous town for hand-made pottery and painted tiles in Turkey. You will have a demonstration on how to make handmade pottery with old school kick-wheel techniques.
Devrent Valley – A lunar landscape and natural animal shaped pink rocks
Urgups Fairy Chimneys – Rock formations with caps, a conical shaped body and a boulder sitting on top of it.
End of tour, transfer to a cave hotel in Cappadocia.
Overnight in Cappadocia in a cave hotel.
Morning pick up from hotel and continue to ;
Goreme Panoroma – A stop for panoramic view of Goreme Valley.
Underground City – This underground city is approximately 85m deep. It contains all the usual rooms found in an underground city (stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, wineries )
Ihlara valley – Enjoy an easy 3 km hike through part of this valley along the Melendiz Stream. Look up and see many Roman cave churches, chapels, monasteries and hermit caves.
Selime Monastery – Located at the northern opening of Ihlara Valley. It has a lovely pictureque view looking down the valley. The complexes were carved into volcanic rock outcroppings during the Byzantine period.
Pigeon Valley – Named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into rocks.
End of tour, transfer to Pamukkale by bus.
Arrive in Pamukkale early in the morning. Pick up and transfer to hotel. After breakfast, pick up from hotel and continue to;
Pamukkale – The beautiful, cascading, snow-white terraced springs and waterfalls famous for healing properties from bathing in it’s thermal mineral waters.
Hierapolis – An ancient Hellenic and Roman city. See the magnificently preserved and vast Necropolis of the ancient Hellenistic world; You will explore the Roman Basilica Baths, Domitian Gate, latrines, Agora, Colonnaded Street, Byzantine Gate, Roman fountains, it’s Grand Theater as well as other monuments on site.
End of tour, transfer to Ephesus area by bus. Overnight in Selcuk or Kusadasi.
Morning pick up from hotel and continue to ;
Ephesus – Tour starts from the upper entrance gate. Visit the Baths of Varius, Odeon, Prytaneion, Fountain of Polio, Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Domitian, and Library of Celsus.
Great Theater and Harbor Street with the Necropolis will also be visited.
The Temple of Artemis – One of the original seven wonders of the ancient world which was a famous place of pilgrimage for centuries.
House of Virgin Mary – Discovered in a vision by a bedridden German nun in 1812, this stone building is believed by many Catholics and Muslims to be where the Virgin Mary lived her last years. There is also a healing fountain.
End of tour: transfer to Izmir airport for evening flight back to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.
