  I visit Turkey regularly but for the first time went with my extended family including my sister, her two teenage kids, my husband and our twin toddlers. The itinerary was carefully thought through and well balanced. Our booking was easy, the pre-information packet was timely and thorough including going out of their way to help us with some hard to get reservations. The transfers were perfect with prompt communication . Everything worked like clockwork. However, it was the genius of the itinerary, coupled with our two passionate professionals, Gokhan and his wife, that put this trip into the A plus category!

Additionally, I lost my purse and waited at the police station for hours as they had no translators. Feeling desperate, I called Gokhan and he showed up at 12 at night and sorted everything out within ten minutes and made sure we reached our airBNB safely. He even brought some snacks and water as I was hyperventilating to calm me down. This was an act of kindness and what I needed when I felt violated for losing my purse and all my money/personal items but Gokhan dropped everything to help out and gave us a true glimpse of Turkish hospitality.   We booked the service for 4 day 3 night from Istanbul to Pumukkale and Capadocia. We experienced the insecurity regarding the itinerary throughout the whole trip such as pick-up time,... read more reservations and so on. We normally got the answer at the last minute as we needed to keep asking them by ourselves.

At one particular point, We asked for the hot balloon reservation about 1-2 months before the date. The agency eventually booked for us at the last minute on the night before with the schedule 4:50 pick-up. On the day, We waited until 5:20 without anyone on site. We called the staff at 5:38 about the situation. It turned out as the Maple Travel ( their sister agency ) booked us the wrong tour. We also gave her our complaints with confusion.

At 5:47, she called us back with frustration and pissed off mentioning as European , American , British have never treated her like this about order the agency to do anything . She said ‘stop ordering me!’. Also, she asked me to say sorry to her. I personally didn’t get any apologies about the situation.

Further to this, she also called the hotel owner complaining about hotel staff was bring rude to her. On the reality, he helped us through the process with the land line call and stuffs. ( we had only data roaming )

Eventually, the balloon picked us up at 5:50 and joined the last ones tothe group.

As we are Asian, we deserve to reach out for good service and are eligible to ask for informations if something are not going as planned. Also, all the human races would be able to complain (in good manner) or give the feedback without the skin color bias. Thus, we also should be treated with equality as the others.

With the sense of discrimination and racist, I feel very upset with my trust choosing this agency from my British friend ‘s referral.
